A representation firm, made into a platform.
Forfait began as the practice of one engineer in Abu Dhabi acting as exclusive mandatary on cross-border capital raises into the GCC. The platform is the discipline of that practice — country intelligence, deal curation, audit-chained governance — productised so it can serve more than one mandate at a time.
To be the most disciplined platform between institutional capital and Middle-Eastern opportunity — shorter on hype, longer on evidence, and uncompromising about who gets through the door.
Three operating principles.
- 01
Country first, deal second
A deal that looks compelling in isolation often falls apart when you sit it inside the right country dossier. We invert the usual order — the country intelligence module is the foundation, and opportunities are read against it.
- 02
Earned access
The platform is built for institutions and accredited individuals. Membership applications are reviewed by humans, jurisdiction-checked, and accompanied by KYC. We turn applications away when fit isn't there.
- 03
Mandates Forfait actually leads
Beyond the marketplace, Forfait holds a small number of exclusive capital-raise mandates at any time. Members get first-look access to those mandates, and Forfait is on the same side of the table for the duration.
